Dry Needling- What makes us different?
Don’t be fooled, not all dry needling is created equal!
I have training in dry needling from a Western perspective—and it rests on my extensive training in classical acupuncture’s sinew channel treatments. While dry needling focuses on relieving tight muscles and trigger points, acupuncture offers a more comprehensive framework for understanding the body as a whole. By combining both approaches, treatment can address not only where the pain is, but why it developed in the first place. This allows for more thoughtful, individualized care and often leads to deeper, longer-lasting results.
Many of my patients who have had “dry needling” from non-acupuncturists remark that my method is more gentle and effective than Western-style dry needling alone.
Curious how acupuncture can help solve your pain patterns?
